Behind the scene: How to Create Ichikraft Hellebore or Winter Rose Ribbon Flower

Hellebore flower is our new design. And yes, there are single petal Hellebore flower and double petals Hellebore flower. You can visit my Etsy shop if you want these pretty accessories here the link https://www.etsy.com/shop/ichikraft The colors that I chose are green juice, ivory, light pink, wine, and burgundy. The leaf color is willow color. But I also chose the apple green color for the leaf. What I can say about our new design is...this is an easy flower to create. So, I think this is good for the beginner. These are how we create our Hellebore flower, let's check it out!

Material:

1. Single petal Hellebore flower
  • 5 pcs of double-faced/ DF satin ribbon with the length is 5 cm or 4 cm 
  • Some flower stamens
  • 2 cm diameter for the round felt
2. Double petal Hellebore flower
  • 5 pcs of double-faced / DF satin ribbon with the length is 5 cm 
  • 6 pcs of double-faced / DF satin ribbon with the length is 4 cm
  • Some flower stamens
  • 2 cm diameter for the round felt
The processing:

1. Single petals Hellebore flower
  • Cut and shape the petals like a leaf or like the picture below

  • Slight burn the edge around, like the picture below

  • Make a hole in the center of the felt like the picture below

  • Join some flower stamens by gluing them. Attach them into the hole and seal it with glue

  • First, join 5 petals with 5 cm or 4 cm for the length

  • Cut around the felt with 2 cm diameter
  • Hand-stitch the pin brooch or just glue it
  • Attach it in the bottom of the flower
  • Attach the handmade label by gluing it
  • And the single petals Hellebore flower brooch is ready!
2. Double petals Hellebore flower

  • Do the same step like we create single petals Hellebore flower until fourth steps
  • Then, in the fifth step, join 6 petals with 4 cm for the length. Look at the picture below

  • Join 5 petals with 5 cm for the length or the size. Look at the picture down below

  • If you want to make a leaf then cut 5 cm double-faced/ DF satin flower. Then shape it into a leaf shape - watch the video 
  • Attach the leaf by gluing it
  • Cut around the felt with 2 cm diameter
  • Hand-stitched the pin brooch or just glue it
  • Attach it in the bottom of Hellebore flower
  • Glue the handmade label
  • And it's done!
