I designed this ribbon flower for a beginner. People who want to learn handmade flowers will find some difficulties during the process. It might easy for us who master it but not to them. Therefore, I created it to encourage anybody who embraces their boundaries. In fact, it is fun rather than scary things because the final result will make you happy. Let's get started!
Material:
- Needle
- Sewing thread
- 1 pin brooch - the size is 3 cm
- Felt
- lighter
- pencil
- scissor
- Ruler
- Gun glue
- Green satin ribbon
- Pink light satin ribbon
- Pink satin ribbon
1. Step 1: cut the ribbons
- Cut the green satin ribbon with a long/ size 10 cm. You need 7 pieces
- Cut pink ribbon with size 9 cm, and you need 6 pieces

- Cut light pink ribbon with size 8 cm, and you need 5 pieces
- Cut light pink ribbon with size 7 cm, and you need 3 pieces
- Burn the right and left edges with the lighter
2. Step 2: sewing the ribbons
- Prepare the sewing thread and a needle
- First, stitching light pink satin ribbon that has size 7 cm. Folding both ends of the edges and form 90 degrees
- Now, start sewing from the right end and join the other 2 ribbon

- Pull the thread, end the stitch, and secure it

- Do the same step to another light pink satin ribbon that has size 8 cm
- Now sewing pink satin ribbon that has 9 cm size. First, Folding both ends and form it 90 degrees; sewing from the right side to the left; pull the thread, and secure it. You do not need to join with another pink satin ribbons.

- Do the same step to the rest of the ribbons (pink ribbon and green ribbon)

3. Step 3: Forming flower
- Prepare the gun glue. First, we are gonna glue light pink ribbon that has a 7 cm size to create a flower center. Giving glue at the end of the right; folding one petal first; apply the glue to other petals and folding them together

- Applying glue to another light pink satin ribbon that has 8 cm size; join them to the flower center

- Apply the glue to the petals that have 9 cm size. Join them to create a fully formed flower

- Now, apply glue to the green petals; joining them to the pink flower

- Prepare the felt, ruler, and pencil. Creating around felt with 3 cm for diameter

- Prepare a needle and green thread and attaching a pin brooch to felt

- Now apply the glue on the backside of the felt

- After gluing the felt you can now attach it to the flower

- We can choose other colors for the flower. For example light purple and dark purple, light blue and blue, pink blush and dusty rose, etc. Using more than 1 color will make the flower looks engaging
